Woolf accreditation team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth setup of your college and programs in the AMS, aligning your curriculum with the appropriate license. Once the necessary details are collected and confirmed, we'll provide access to your customized Canvas instance with the created empty courses.
đź’ˇImportant Note: Please be aware that there must be a one-to-one relationship between courses on Canvas and Woolf AMS. It is not allowed to divide a single Woolf-licensed course into multiple courses on Canvas. Each licensed course in Woolf AMS must correspond to exactly one course on Canvas to maintain the integrity.
Core Integrity: Synchronizing AMS and Canvas Course Details
To ensure that your college maintains its accreditation status, it's crucial to keep the course details on the AMS and Canvas platforms identical.
- Do not make changes to course names or assignment groups directly in Canvas. These elements should only be created and modified within Woolf AMS.
- Courses should not be independently created on Canvas. Due to the way the Canvas-Woolf integration is set up, course creation is managed by the Accreditation Team on Woolf AMS to keep both systems in sync.
- If you anticipate the need for a course that isn't currently licensed, inform us so we can set it up in advance. This proactive step is important; otherwise, any student activity related to unlicensed content will not be recorded and could potentially be lost.

Course Section
Woolf independently tracks student learning activity in accredited courses and allows you to decide how to segment students for administrative purposes using Canvas Sections.
These sections subdivide students within a course and offer section-specific options, such as varied due dates for assignments, discussions, and quizzes. They can also be created to manage students who purchase extra materials or need extra time in a course.

Organizing Course Content with Modules
Canvas Modules are a way to organize learning materials for a course. You can access items in a module one at a time or in order, depending on how the module is set up. Some modules can be configured to be completed in sequence.
With Woolf, you have the freedom to structure your course content using modules however you want. There aren't any strict rules or limits. You can find module content in Woolf AMS, but you won't see the modules themselves.
