Woolf Degree Programs and Requirements

Understanding degree entry requirements is essential for applicants considering applying to a program at Woolf. This article outlines the admission requirements for different levels of programs, including standard, performance-based, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathways. đź’ˇ  Important Note: All applications including those through RPL are reviewed by Woolf’s academic team. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission. Applications may be rejected for reasons including unaccredited degrees, submission of false documents, exaggerated work history, poor-quality portfolios, or concerns about academic readiness. Colleges must not confirm student admission until formal approval is granted by Woolf.

General Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: All applicants must demonstrate sufficient English (or Spanish/Ukrainian, where applicable) proficiency. Non-native speakers must either:
    • Hold an EQF Level 4 qualification (e.g., 12th grade or a 2-year diploma) taken in English, or
    • Provide a valid English proficiency test score equivalent to IELTS 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0 for doctoral programs).

Master’s Level / Postgraduate Programs

Program Requirements
MBA
  • Standard Admission: Requires an MQF 6 level degree.
  • Alternative Pathway via RPL: Applicants with MQF 5 level coursework and at least 7 years of business experience may apply for admission through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
MS in Computer Science
  • Standard Admission: Requires an MQF 6 level degree.
  • Alternative Pathway via RPL: Applicants with MQF 5 level coursework and at least 7 years of relevant work experience may apply through RPL.
  • Additional Requirements: Applicants without a technical background may be required to complete additional coursework.
MS in Data Science
  • Standard Admission: Requires an MQF 6 level degree, preferably in a technical or mathematical field.
  • Alternative Pathway via RPL: Applicants with MQF 5 level coursework and at least 7 years of relevant work experience may apply through RPL.
  • Additional Requirements: Applicants without a technical background may be required to complete additional coursework.
Other Postgraduate Certificates and Diplomas
  • Standard Admission: Typically require MQF 6 level qualifications.
  • Additional Requirements: Relevant professional experience may also be required, depending on the program.

Bachelor’s Level Programs

Program Requirements
BSc in Computer Science
  • Standard Admission: Requires EQF Level 4 (e.g., 12th grade or 2-year diploma).
  • Performance-Based Admission (PBA): Students begin coursework without full admission. If they maintain an average grade of 90% or higher for 25% of the program, they are granted admission.
  • Alternative Pathway via RPL:
    • 10th grade graduates with 3+ years of relevant experience.
    • High school graduates with strong recommendation letters.
    • Applicants with a strong portfolio of relevant work.

Undergraduate Diplomas
  • Standard Admission: Typically require MQF/EQF Level 4 level qualifications.
  • Additional Requirements: Relevant professional or academic experience may be required in some cases.
