The application approval process in Woolf AMS is influenced by whether the Academic Board has approved the degree program. This process ensures compliance with institutional standards while simplifying student onboarding and qualification verification.
Academic Board’s Role
The Academic Board is responsible for approving degree programs to define application requirements and enable auto-approval process for student applications.
-
When a Degree is Approved by the Academic Board:
- All student applications for the degree enrollment are automatically approved by Woolf AMS.
- Students only require verification of their education qualifications by Woolf.
-
When a Degree is Pending Approval by the Academic Board:
- Each student application must be manually approved by the college administrator.
- After college-level approval, Woolf conducts a verification of the student’s educational qualifications.
To enable auto-approval for student applications, the Academic Board must confirm and approve the degrees:
- Access Action Items: Navigate to the Action Items section on the dashboard.
- Review Degrees: Under Degrees & Courses, click Review on the card showing pending degrees.
- Approve Degrees: Check each degree for readiness and click Approve to confirm its requirements.
How to Manually Approve Student Enrollment Applications
For degrees pending Academic Board approval, college admins must manually approve applications.
- Identify Pending Students: Use the dashboard to locate students awaiting approval under Action Items.
- Approve Applications: Select eligible students and click Approve Application.
Approval details, including the approver's name, are recorded in the student’s activity history for accountability.
